While there have been times where I’ve both expected and been shocked by the very idea, the Lord has finally chosen to give me an occasion to write a published work. For all of you who have followed my occasional and random writings, thank you for being some of the sounding boards and training wheels on the path that delivers me here.

This past fall, much along the planned lines God had already set in motion, I endeavored to write a book–the first of what I hope and assume will be a series (The Simple Series.) I moved my daughter into her new college dorm on Thursday and commenced writing the following Monday. 

And I loved every minute of it.
